APPLICATION CLOSED FOR 2018. THANKS FOR ALL APPLICANTS!

Talk the Talk 2018 finds and coaches the next generation of public speakers and presents them to the world. To apply, all you’ll need is your enthusiasm and a topic you’re passionate about. Ten fresh talents will be chosen to be trained by today’s top-notch professionals.

This year your main coaches are Elina Aalto and Kai Bäckström, supported by mentor coaches Jari Sarasvuo, Baba Lybeck, Bruce Oreck, Armi Toivanen & Reeta Vestman.

STEP 1 – APPLY BY AUGUST 21ST

The application period opens on August 6th, and all you need is a topic you’re passionate about. Apply by filming a 1-minute video of you, speaking about your chosen topic. Tell us why it’s important to you and why the world should hear about it.

What we look on the video is (in order of importance):

  1. Your enthusiasm and motivation
  2. The importance of your message – why should the world hear it
  3. Your performing ability.

Note that we’re very strict on the video length. 1:00 is okay, 1:01 is too long. So make it short and sweet! And, as the program and your speeches will be in English, please film your application in English.

Before sending out the application, please mark the dates on your calendar and try to make sure you’ll be able to attend each of them.

We will inform all applicants on August 28.
